Ashton-Tate upgraded its Framework software.

The Culver City-based software company said the Framework II computer program, aimed at business computer users, utilizes a larger, faster and more powerful spreadsheet and an advanced word processing program that includes a spelling checker. The software, to be available by October, enhances the original Framework software, introduced in July, 1984. Framework has been Ashton-Tate’s mainstay product.
