Apartment owners in Beverly Hills may increase rents in October by no more than 4.7% under the city’s rent control ordinance, according to city officials. The increases must be preceded by a 30-day written notice, Roxanne Mora of the city manager’s office said.
Because rental increases vary month to month, landlords should contact the rent stabilization office at 550-4939 to receive the correct percentage from which to compute increases, Mora said.
