Gerald J. Levy has been nominated to become chairman of the United States League of Savings Institutions, the league announced.
Levy, chairman and president of Guaranty Savings & Loan Assn. in Milwaukee, is presently vice chairman of the Chicago-based league, which is made up of more than 3,500 savings and loan associations and savings banks.
Levy will replace John B. Zellars, who is chairman of Georgia Federal Bank in Atlanta.
