Sensormedics Corp. of Anaheim said it has acquired Alpha Technologies Inc. in its third acquisition in two years. Terms of the purchase were not revealed.
Sensormedics is a manufacturer of diagnostics and critical care monitoring equipment. It was founded in 1983 in a management buy-out of a division of Beckman Instruments Inc.
Josef Stupecky, president of Alpha Technologies, and the other 15 company employees are expected to stay on following the acquisition, Neff said.
