Chinese Workers Get Extra Time to Nap

PEKING — Chinese civil servants here, whose traditional two-hour lunch break was cut to one hour in January, are to be given back a half-hour, the New China News Agency reported Saturday.
The agency said the change will apply only in the summer months to allow office workers a chance to rest more during the hottest part of the day. Office workers throughout China are known for their love of lunchtime naps.
