Complaints of housing discrimination will be heard by the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations during a hearing Thursday in Carson.
Twenty-five witnesses, including a Korean allegedly attacked while trying to move into a residence in Malibu, will testify as the commission seeks to find new ways to end discrimination in the county.
Other witnesses will include Stephen Wolfson, whose case secured a state Supreme Court decision protecting children against housing discrimination, and representatives of fair housing and community organizations.
The hearing will begin at 9 a.m. in the City Council chambers of the Carson City Hall, 701 E. Carson St.
