Sheriff’s deputies searched Friday for the body of a 9-month-old boy who was allegedly stabbed to death by his mother two to three weeks ago, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
Sheriff’s Sgt. D.Q. Martin said Lucia Nelson, 35, a transient, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of murdering her infant son, Sean Michael Wise. It is believed the body was left in the McCain Valley area in East San Diego County, Martin said.
