Great Inns of America is organizing independent inns across the nation, and a phone call can get you reservations along the East Coast.
To date, the company represents about 35 inns. Most are on the East Coast, although member inns also are in Colorado, Mississippi and New Mexico.
Great Inns of America plans to represent 100 inns across the nation by the end of summer.
Members are chosen by a board of directors after visits and recommendations. Each inn retains its individuality.
