Radisson Plans Desert Resort

Plans have been announced for a new, $20-million Radisson Resort Hotel to be developed in Palm Desert by VIP-Very Important Properties. Ground is to be broken late this summer, with completion scheduled for summer 1986.
The hotel is to have 248 rooms, 50% of them suites and another 40% with kitchens. There will be a health club, racquetball and tennis courts, spas, swimming pool, retail shops and restaurants.
Architect of the five-building complex on a seven-acre site is Albert & Worzburger; interior designer is Concepts 4 Inc. Millie & Severson is the builder, and the owner is Sherry Ikezawa, also owner of the VIP firm.
