Winners of fellowships from an endowment named in honor of Madeline Hunter, who served for more than 20 years as principal of UCLA’s Corinne A. Seeds University Elementary School, have been announced.
The first recipients of the fellowships, Graduate School of Education students who are completing their practice teaching in the Los Angeles Unified School District, are Richard Curtis, at University High School; Sharon Docter, Birmingham High; David Reimann, Venice High; Lance Tapper, Birmingham High, and Shirlee Wong, Mt. Vernon Junior High.
