Life Styles Puts Win Streak on Line Tonight
- Share via
The unbeaten filly Life Styles begins the long road to the Los Alamitos Triple Crown tonight in the $25,000-added Leo Handicap at the Los Alamitos Race Course.
Along with the rest of owner R.D. Hubbard’s racing stock, the filly will be sold at auction in three months unless purchased privately before that time.
Sharing high weight at 124 pounds with Life Styles is Mini Native Rocket, winner of the Dixie Downs Futurity at Utah last month. The colt began his racing career as a yearling on the harness circuit.
Also entered in the Leo Handicap, a 350-yard race, are Sir Thermalot, Gene Jet, Gyps Double, Stars In Her Crown, Mighty Wayward, Dial A Pie, Teenie Bopper and Old Swale.
