A Silicon Valley executive missing for two weeks was found shot to death inside a zipped sleeping bag floating in San Francisco Bay, authorities said. Michael Chalkley, 49, president of Trillium Corp. of Santa Clara, had been dead for about a week when his “slightly decomposed” body was found half a mile from the Berkeley Marina, said Michael King, the Alameda County deputy coroner. Chalkley had been shot twice in the upper torso, according to Berkeley Detective Michael Holland. The executive, who lived in Belmont, disappeared after telling his wife that he was going to a dinner meeting. Trillium Corp. manufactures semiconductor testing equipment.
