The county Board of Supervisors has approved $5,000 for transportation of AIDS victims in West Hollywood. The funds, from the county’s Proposition A transit tax revenues, will help pay for a driver for AIDS Project/Los Angeles, a local support group that helps AIDS victims with counseling, medical referral, home health care and daily chores. The program transports AIDS victims to any destination within West Hollywood or adjacent cities, county officials said.
