Wadkins, O’Meara Enter Memorial Golf Tourney

DUBLIN, Ohio — Lanny Wadkins and Mark O’Meara, the most successful players on the PGA Tour in the first 2 1/2 months of 1985, have entered Jack Nicklaus’ 10th annual Memorial Golf Tournament May 23-26 at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Already returning their entries were Nicklaus, the defending champion; 1984 runner-up Andy Bean; and current U.S. Open champion Fuzzy Zoeller.
Wadkins, 35, has won the Bob Hope Classic and the Los Angeles Open. O’Meara, 28, has won the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am and the Hawaiian Open earlier this year.
