Cerritos Plays Cypress for First

First place will be at stake today when Cerritos College, the South Coast Conference leader, plays Cypress, the second-place team, at noon.
Cerritos, 7-0 in conference, 17-1 overall and the top-ranked team in Southern California, can complete the first round of SCC play undefeated by beating the Chargers, 6-1 and 17-5. The Falcons are coming off a 4-3 win over Orange Coast Thursday while Cypress edged Mt. San Antonio, 7-5.
In other South Coast Conference games today at noon, Golden West is at Santa Ana, Saddleback at Compton and Fullerton at Mt. San Antonio.
