Body of Unidentified Man Found in Ravine

Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered early Wednesday morning in a deep ravine off Little Tujunga Road, one mile north of Foothill Boulevard.
The man had multiple puncture wounds on his back and upper torso. He was found by a resident of the area whose car skidded off the road Tuesday night, officials said.
“We are leaning towards homicide,” said Detective Richard Adams. “He could have been murdered and run over by a truck. We are not certain of anything right now.”
An autopsy was to be performed today.
The man, who carried no identification, was described by officials as dark haired,Caucasian and from 25 to 30 years old. He was wearing a leather jacket, jeans and hiking boots.
