BILL MURRAY GETS TASTE OF ‘PUDDING’

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Comedian-actor Bill Murray has accepted Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatrical’s Man of the Year Award for what club members called his “unprincipled, off-the-wall irreverence.”

The actor gained national acclaim in the 1970’s for his performances on TV’s “Saturday Night Live,” and has since appeared in several movie comedies, including “Tootsie,” “Stripes,” “Ghostbusters” and “Meatballs.”
