Local News in Brief : Woman Killed in Plunge Off Road Identified as Rock Singer

Awoman who died Friday after her car plummeted off Mulholland Drive in Studio City has been identified as Delores Warren, 33, a singer with the rock band Krystal.
Her car plunged down an incline about a mile east of Coldwater Canyon Avenue at 2:30 p.m., authorities said. She was taken by helicopter to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where she later died, police said.
Valley Traffic Division Sgt. Dennis Zine said Warren showed no signs of being intoxicated and was driving at only 10 m.p.h. when the accident occurred. There were no skid marks at the scene, Zine said.
Police said Warren probably would have survived if she had been wearing a seat belt.
