James Hankla New County CAO

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors today unanimously named its new chief administrative officer, James Hankla, currently executive director of the Community Development Commission.
Before voting, however, the board reaffirmed its support for Assistant CAO Ted Reed, who joined the county in 1959. Reed was among the six finalists for the county’s top bureaucratic spot.
