Funeral Set Friday for Film Director Henry Hathaway

A rosary for film director Henry Hathaway will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Church in West Los Angeles, and a funeral Mass will be said there at 10 a.m. Friday.

Hathaway, who died Monday at age 86 and whose 66 films included “Call Northside 777,” “True Grit” and “The Lives of a Bengal Lancer,” will be entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery.
