Wild Rivers

Hurray to the U.S. Supreme Court for letting stand the ruling that allows the Eel, Trinity, American, Klamath, and Smith rivers to remain under the protection of the federal Wild and Scenic Rivers Act.
Hopefully, this will open the eyes of those who think we need to develop these rivers for their agricultural and hydroelectric potential. There is a greater need for the conservation of these resources rather than the production of more. It is high time we concentrated our energies on development of ways to use our existing resources more wisely.
