Michelle Kirby scored 12 points, had 10 rebounds and 6 blocked shots to lead El Camino Real High to the win in the West Valley League. It is now 7-2 in the league and are second behind Kennedy. The winners are now 13-3 for the season.
Voviette Morgan had 10 points and 8 rebounds for El Camino Real, which took a 34-20 halftime lead. Beth Gratzer added eight points.
For Taft, 1-9 in the league, Alisa Morton had 20 points. For the season, Taft is 1-12, the only win being a forfeit.
