A San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 16-year-old girl and attempting to murder her 17-year-old girlfriend, after finding them inside a vacant Hillsboro mansion he had been hired to guard. David Allen Raley, 23, a security guard, was accused of having beaten and stabbed Jeanine Grenzill, 16, of San Mateo, and Laurie McKenna, 17, of Burlingame, before throwing them bound and gagged--down a ravine. The younger girl died of stab wounds shortly after she climbed out of the ravine and hailed a passing motorist. The other girl was in good condition at a San Jose hospital. San Jose police said Raley is a police buff who sometimes told neighbor children he was a real police officer.
