CS Fullerton Tops Stanford in Baseball

Cal State Fullerton beat Stanford, 13-7, in a nonconference baseball game Thursday afternoon at Fullerton.
The Titans, the defending NCAA champions, fell behind 4-0 in the first inning of their season opener but came back to score the next 12 runs, including 6 in the fourth inning. Stanford is 1-1.
Jose Mota, who went 3 for 3, led the Titans with a home run and double. He drove in two runs and scored three. Mike Belanger, who pitched 6 innings, earned the win.
The teams play again tonight at 7 at Fullerton.
