Members of the Ocean Park Community Organization have petitioned the owners of the Pink Elephant Saloon, a Main Street bar that has a predominately homosexual clientele, to reduce noise from patrons. “From 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., off and on . . . we hear a persistent boom, boom, boom that vibrates our windows,” the organization said in the petition. The neighbors have filed complaints with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and the police about the problem.
