An apparent murder victim found at a Huntington Beach film processing plant by an employee has been identified as one of the firm’s owners.
Police Sgt. Bill Mamelli identified the victim as Robert Paul Seder, 47, of Burbank.
Seder’s body was discovered shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday when an unidentified employee, opening Personal Photo at 15182 Bolsa Chica St. for business, found the victim lying on the floor with head wounds that apparently were from gunshots, police said.
Police uncovered evidence of a robbery, Mamelli said, but did not release any details. A Huntington Beach police spokesperson said Saturday that the business’s cash box, containing an undetermined amount of money, was missing.
An autopsy to determine the cause of Seder’s death was performed Sunday by the Orange County coroner’s office, but results were not released.
