I refer to your editorial (Dec. 31), “See You Later, Alligator.” We consumers have been “walking billboards” for many products for many years--such as blatant brand names on pickup trucks and automobiles, radios and TV sets.
At least with items of clothing, you can still purchase comparable items without insignia. But not with cars, trucks, TV or radio sets--or even newspapers or magazines.
