Boys’ basketball: Westchester holds lead

Westchester’s man-to-man defense is forcing turnovers and causing Taft problems early on in the City Section Division I final at Galen Center.

But DeAndre Daniels of Taft has contributed a couple of baskets, and the Toreadors trail, 13-12, with two minutes left in the first quarter.

Dwayne Polee of Westchester picked up his second foul with 3:42 left and was sent to the bench.
