Taft Coach Derrick Taylor was at National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for the swearing in of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States, and he said it was something he’ll never forget.

‘It was the greatest experience all time,’ he said by phone as he was preparing to board a plane back to Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.

Taylor left Sunday for Washington and didn’t have tickets for the inauguration, so he joined thousands of others on the mall.

‘We had a great time,’ he said.
