OK, so the Los Osos boys’ basketball team wasn’t as strong as I thought, losing to visiting Arlington, 82-79, in a Division I-A wild-card game Wednesday night.
I guess that’s what happens when I jump on the bandwagon of team whose best player is a sophomore.
But what about that Valley View team? Johnny Bell had the game of his life Wednesday night in a Division II-A wild-card game against visiting Corona, scoring 37 points to lead the Eagles to a 91-81 victory.
Valley View won’t have much time to enjoy the victory, unless you count the six hours it’ll take to get to Paso Robles for its first-round game Friday night. Just hope Johnny is still on the spot.
