Palisades is playing the tortuous defense Coach James Paleno demands, and has a 43-18 halftime chokehold on St. Bonaventure.

I don’t get the impression, however, that Palisades is a great shooting or scoring team.

I wonder how successful the Dolphins would be trying to trade baskets with Fairfax or Westchester, the giants they must slay to win the Western League -- or more?

Of course, it’s only December.
