El Dorado burned ‘em deep. Real deep

I make mistakes. We all do. But I really liked the typo in the Orange County Register’s account of El Dorado’s 40-7 Southwest Division victory over Rowland.

Sure, Devin Deleon scored on four touchdown runs, but what caught my attention was this: “Kyle Allen hauled in a 839-yard scoring toss from Kane Wilson …”

That’s got to be, like, a record or something.

Friday’s Southwest Division quarterfinal games:

El Dorado (10-1) vs. El Toro (6-5) at Trabuco Hills
Foothill (9-2) vs. South Hills (9-2) at Covina District Stadium, 7 p.m.

Trabuco Hills (10-1) at Hacienda Heights Wilson (6-5)
Charter Oak (9-1-1) at West Covina (6-5), 7 p.m.
