Season 4 of “Jersey Shore” opens with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Nicole Cortese in Italy, at 10 p.m. on MTV.SERIES
So You Think You Can Dance: Two contestants are eliminated, and the final four are revealed in this new episode featuring a performance by Pia Toscano (8 p.m. Fox).
Expedition Impossible: Contestants prepare for a flight as they rush through a Moroccan market in this new episode (9 p.m. ABC).
Burn Notice: Michael and Sam (Jeffrey Donovan, Bruce Campbell) attempt to retrieve a sick boy whose father has taken him to an armed compound against his mother’s wishes in this new episode (9 p.m. USA).
Rookie Blue: When a woman is attacked on her watch, Andy (Missy Peregrym) worries that her personal issues are affecting her professional judgment in this new episode (10 p.m. ABC).
Futurama: In the new episode “Mobius Dick,” Leela hunts a four-dimensional space whale (10 p.m. Comedy Central).
Extreme Chef: In this new episode, three chefs must harvest their ingredients from a farm (10 p.m. Food).

Shark City: This year’s Shark Week host Andy Samberg gets to swim with the sharks in this new special, (9 p.m. Discovery).
When Fish Attack 3: In this new special, footage shows a man kissing a nurse shark, a baby great white shark biting the hand that’s trying to set it free and a captive killer whale having a power struggle with its trainer. (10 p.m. Discovery).
MOVIES
Everyday Black Man: A drug dealer forces a man back into being the violent person he once was in this 2010 drama starring Henry Brown and Afi Ayanna (6:40 p.m. Showtime).
SPORTS
Baseball: Regional coverage (10 a.m. and 4 p.m. MLB); the New York Yankees visit the Chicago White Sox (5 p.m. WGN A); The Minnesota Twins visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN).
