Marilu Henner knows what you did last summer -- as long as you spent the summer with Marilu Henner. The ‘Taxi’ sitcom star, seen most recently on ‘Numb3rs,’ has a ‘superior autobiographical memory,’ she said Monday on ‘The Early Show.’

Henner, 58, was among a handful of similarly skilled people profiled on ’60 Minutes’ Sunday night. ‘We have a certain area of our brains that’s larger than most people’s,’ she explained. ‘But, I know that it’s also been a muscle that I’ve exercised.’

Henner was quizzed on ’60 Minutes,’ and passed with flying colors. According to a neurologist on the show, folks with this skill are right about 99% of the time.

For example, what was she up to Oct. 26, 1976, asked Leslie Stahl (who’d just been reminded of what Henner ordered when they shared a meal in 1993)? ‘1976 was a Tuesday,’ Henner said. ‘Oh, I went to shoot a ring-around-the-collar commercial in Venice, Italy.’

‘That’s it,’ Stahl said.

‘And you saw a second-and-a-half mood shot of Venice and then a gondolier singing, ‘Of Love I Sing, tra-la-la-la, for you got ring around the coll-la-la.’ And I went, ‘My powder didn’t work.’’

(This revelation does put a new spin on her red carpet appearance at the ‘How Do You Know’ premiere last week. How do you know? Well, duh.)

Perhaps Ms. Henner can help the Ministry flesh out the details from a few of the Christmas parties we’ve been privileged to attend this season? Wait ... it doesn’t work that way, does it? Dang.

Henner’s book ‘An Unforgettable Life -- Yours: Lessons Learned from an Autobiographical Memory,’ is due out in spring.
