A woman was killed and a man was injured early Saturday when their sport utility vehicle flipped over on the 134 Freeway in Glendale and crashed into a tree, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 2:15 a.m. and closed the westbound Pacific Avenue exit ramp for two hours, California Highway Patrol Officer Cheyenne Quesada said.
The 45-year-old woman was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver, also 45, was transported to County/USC Medical Center, Quesada said. Neither was identified.
