The Los Angeles Fire Department was battling a blaze at 200 S. Muirfield Road in Hancock Park, where fire had fully engulfed the attic of a 91-year-old home, according to authorities.
The home’s occupants escaped the two-story, 5,000-square-foot home unharmed, after a passerby saw the flames and alerted them, according to LAFD Spokesman Brian Humphrey. The fire started after 4:30 p.m.
